The third season of The Umbrella Academy series will premiere on June 22, 2022. The announcement also reveals a number of official photos for the series. The first photos revealed show some of The Umbrella Academy’s characters. Then the second photo shows a different group, namely The Sparrow Academy.
“The Umbrella Academy Season 3 premieres June 22,” wrote the Netflix Twitter account on Sunday (13/3). The appearance of this third season had previously been seen at the end of the second season. In that episode, the Hargreeves brothers managed to return to 2019 after facing a number of problems and the end of times in 1960.

But they arrived in 2019 just the six of them without Ben who sacrificed his life to save Vanya. They also returned to ‘home’ without any expectations. Until then, the Hargreeves brothers realized that they were no longer at home. A Ben-like figure appeared there and introduced the place as Sparrow Academy.
Sparrow Academy itself appears in the comic The Umbrella Academy: The Sparrow Academy although it is not yet known for sure the abilities of the members of the academy.
In the comic version, this group of heroes also briefly appeared in The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion. In a special interview with CNNIndonesia.com, Justin Min as the actor Ben admitted that he was sad and surprised when the Sparrow Academy itself appeared in the comic The Umbrella Academy: The Sparrow Academy, although the abilities of the members of the academy are not yet known. In a special interview , Justin Min as the actor Ben admitted that he was sad and surprised when he saw the fate of his character in The Umbrella Academy 2. He thought Ben’s character would end in the latest season of the series. But the situation changed when showrunner Steve Blackman sent the last three pages of the script for episode 10 to all the cast, including himself.
“I was stunned and never thought that Ben would come back to life. Shocked, but really excited to be able to remain a part of the third season of the series,” he said. Furthermore, Justin H. Min will return as Ben, but in a member version of The Sparrow Academy.

The third season of The Umbrella Academy series still features several players in the previous series, namely Elliot Page as Vanya Hargreeves, Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Five Hargreeves, and Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves.
In addition to the old players, this third season also featured several new players who joined as members of The Sparrow Academy, namely Justin Cornwell (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey), Britne Oldford (Hunters), Jake Epstein (Suits), Genesis Rodriguez (Big Hero 6 ), and Cazzie David.
