Director Jon Watts reveals the story of bringing the three Spider-Man together in No Way Home. The three actors who have played Spider-Man on the big screen, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, are united in No Way Home.
Before shooting the first scene of Spider-Man’s third encounter, Jon Watts gathered Tobey, Andrew, and Tom with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon.

“We sat on folding chairs and formed a circle and read the script together,” said Jon Watts, as reported by Variety on Wednesday (26/1).”I’ve spoken to each of them but have also come together to discuss the storyline, put it all together and what Spider-Man means to them. It’s been a lot of fun,” he said.

According to him, this is necessary because the three Spider-Mans have been through a lot both in front of and behind the scenes so far. “We only have three actors who have been Spider-Man in the film and each of them has been through a lot. So it’s like a Spider-Man therapy session,” said Jon Watts.

He also admitted that he was worried because he collected the three Spider-Mans, including cross-universe criminals who have been familiar to fans’ hearts.
The audience can reminisce with the presence of Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, and Jamie Foxx as Electro. But in the process of making it, Jon Watts worried about missing something big from it.

“So as a director you have to keep your eyes and ears open,” he said. No Way Home is the culmination of eight Spider-Man films, three directed by Sam Raimi, two by Marc Webb, and three by Watts.
The reunion made Spider-Man: No Way Home set a record as the sixth highest-grossing film of all time by collecting at least US $ 1.69 billion or around Rp. 24.2 trillion (US $ 1 = Rp. 14,323).
