Actor Jeremy Renner stated that The Avengers has given birth to such a close relationship between the first six Avengers. The bond of the six members of the Marvel superhero he called something irreplaceable.
The actor playing Hawkeye conveyed this impression when he appeared on the Armchair Expert podcast as reported by ScreenRant, Thursday (14/1).
“The biggest thing that happened in 11 years in the Marvel universe was the presence of A6 (The Avengers) during the journey,” Renner said. “Everything is like family to me. You can’t replace or measure it, and we all have a tattoo together as a symbol of our bond and love.”
The tattoo depicts a combination of the Avengers logo and was made in 2018. Based on the narrative of Robert Downey Jr., the idea came from Scarlett Johansson which was approved by Chris Evans and followed by other members. However, Mark Ruffalo decided not to get a tattoo because he was allegedly afraid of needles. This incident was immortalized on their social media.

Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye is a member of The Avengers, the six Marvel superheroes who first came together in The Avengers (2012). The other five superheroes who are joined are Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
The six heroes have filled various Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films over a decade. The climax is the film Avengers: Endgame which is phenomenal and becomes the most successful film of all time. The film, which was released in 2019, was also a farewell for them. Renner is currently one of the three remaining members of the Avengers in the MCU. Marvel itself will form the latest The Avengers with different members.
Rumor has it that the second generation will consist of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Captain America (Anthony Mackie), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), and several other names that have not yet been on the radar.
Late last year, Jeremy Renner finally had a solo project called Hawkeye. The series that airs on Disney+ tells the story of Hawkeye’s life after the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
The series, which airs during the Christmas season, also features a new character named Kate Bishop. Played by Hailee Steinfeld, Kate Bishop who is also an accomplished archer is tipped to be the successor to Hawkeye for the Marvel saga in the future.
