The animated film Sing 2 again presents funny actions from characters in previous films, such as Buster Moon, Ash, Rosita and Gunter. This time they were determined to perform at Redshore City, which is a dream for all singers. Here’s a synopsis of Sing 2.
Sing 2 (2021) continues the action of Buster Moon’s (Matthew McConaughey) musical group consisting of Ash (Scarlett Johansson), Johnny (Taron Egerton), Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), Meena (Tori Kelly), and Gunter (Nick Kroll).
Every time they appear, their event tickets are always sold out. This is apparently still not enough for Buster Moon. He aspires to bring his group to perform in Redshore City, a magnificent city that has a large performance hall. Passing an audition at Crystal Entertainment was the only way to appear there.

They did everything they could to get to Redshore City. They were even willing to practice all night on the bus while heading to the location. Upon arriving at Redshore City, Buster Moon and his group immediately headed to the audition location and immediately presented the prepared performance.
However, they were declared ineligible by the owner of Crystal Entertainment, Jimmy Crystal (Bobby Cannavale). That answer infuriated Buster Moon and asked for more time to put on a better show.

In the midst of the commotion, Gunter comes up with a unique idea involving Clay Calloway (Bono), a long-lost legendary rock singer. The idea impressed Jimmy and agreed to give them a chance to perform at Redshore City.
Buster Moon and his group were then given two months to make the show. Failing that, they would be annihilated and expelled from Redshore City for good.
Sing 2 is a sequel to the animated Sing which was released in 2016. The film is still being directed by Garth Jennings who directed and wrote the script for the first film. This film also took Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy as producers.

In addition to still involving a number of old players, such as Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, and Nick Kroll, this film is also supported by several new faces, such as Bono, Halsey, and Pharrell Williams, as voice actors in the animated film Sing 2.
In this first dubbing cartoon film project, Bono plays Clay Calloway. He exiled himself from the world after his wife died. Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams plays Alfonso, an elephant who works as an ice cream truck driver. He falls in love with another elephant, played by Tori Kelly.
Meanwhile, Halsey plays Porsche, a teenage wolf who is also the son of Jimmy Crystal (Bobby Cannavale). Just like the first film, Sing 2 also plays 2010s hits, from Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, Shawn Mendes’ There’s Nothing Holdin Me Back, to Coldplay’s Sky Full of Star.
