Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Google mixes new films with viral spectacles in cyberspace. Squid Game has succeeded in controlling Indonesian netizens throughout 2021. That’s not surprising. As reported by Insight Korea, Squid Game was recorded as the Korean drama with the highest score on the streaming service with a score of 562 points.

That figure came just four days after the series was released on the streaming service Netflix. The trending watch list in Indonesia also notes that Lucky Kuswandi’s film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens ranks second behind Squid Game.
