The incident occurred on a JetBlue flight from Gatwick Airport to New York JFK on January 30.

As the person tried to flee from them, one mentioned: ‘Proper take him down.’ The girl mentioned: ‘No’ after which began sobbing.

One passenger mentioned: ‘Jesus Christ,’ Whereas one other exclaimed: ‘What the f***.’

Witness Grant Saunders, who works as a hypnotist, was on the flight and mentioned: ‘The boys from the again of the aircraft got here down to help.

The flight took off from Gatwick at 11.55am and arrived on time at 8.16pm GMT on Tuesday.
