Lizzo Accepts Humanitarian Award Surrounded by Black Plus-Sized Women

Lizzo is sending a really clear message — she loves and helps “Black fats girls” — giving them a highlight as she accepted a humanitarian award.

The singer was honored Thursday evening with the Black Music Motion Coalition’s Humanitarian Award and surrounded herself with about 20 plus-sized girls.

As we reported, Lizzo’s just lately been focused in two separate lawsuits, accusing her of permitting racial harassment, sexual harassment and extra on her tour. Whereas she did not particularly point out the lawsuits, Lizzo gave a speech that actually addressed them.
