Keanu Reeves Earnings From All The Matrix Movies and The Matrix Resurrections

When it comes to The Matrix, all will focus on one figure, namely Keanu Reeves, who seems to be an inseparable entity even though he now has another franchise, namely John Wick.
Keanu Reeves’ appearance in The Matrix (1999) seems to be a new icon in the acting world and presents science-fiction films that are almost the same as him.

Now Keanu Reeves is back with his role as Neo or Thomas Andersson after more than 18 years of leaving the character. Nostalgia of the old audience was unavoidable, the response was of course varied. Some still like the previous films, some feel the opposite.

But there is one thing that is certain, namely the amount of salary received by Keanu Reeves. In the film The Matrix (1999) Keanu reportedly received a fee of 10 million USD and a bonus of 35 million USD after the success of the film.

From here, the figure of Keanu became known as a philanthropist because he chose to share the bonus he got with the crew who took care of the costumes to the special effects in the film.

He felt that they had a very big role in the success of The Matrix, which indeed reaped praise by all film critics that the film seemed to surpass its era.

“He felt that they were the ones that made the film a huge hit and they should get what it deserves,” one of the film’s executive producers, who asked not to be named, told the Wall Street Journal at the time.

This is not the first time that Keanu Reeves receives a salary distribution in a film, he has done something similar when appearing in The Devil’s Advocate (1997) where Keanu Reeves gave up several million in his salary so that the producer could pay Al Pacino to appear there.

Although he often donates his salary, Keanu Reeves actually gets an abundance of sustenance. The man who is included in the ranks of the most expensive actors in the world is said to have assets reaching USD 380 million or Rp. 5.4 trillion this year.
