Jason Momoa Says He and Lisa Bonet

Not all love is lost between Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa. ET spoke to the 42-year-old actor at the The Batman premiere in New York City on Tuesday where he was supporting his stepdaughter, Zoë Kravitz.

Momoa and Bonet announced their split in January after 16 years together and nearly five years of marriage, but Momoa told ET’s Rachel Smith that they are “still family.”

While Momoa said Bonet couldn’t make it to the premiere, he attended with their two children, 14-year-old daughter Lola and 13-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf.

“We’re just so proud,” he said of Kravitz, whom Bonet shares with her ex, Lenny Kravitz. “Lisa couldn’t be here so we’re representing, me and the babies. We’re very excited to just be here. …It’s still family, you know?”

Nearly two months after the Cosby Show star and Aquaman actor shocked fans by announcing their split, a source tells ET that there’s no bad blood between them.

“They had a lot of love for each other when they broke up, and obviously still do,” the source says.

At the start of the year, the actors released a joint statement on social media, explaining their decision to part ways.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage,” read the post. “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other ~to be who we are learning to become…”

The statement concluded, “Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life and our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible ~ Living the Prayer May Love Prevail ✨ J & L.”

Bonet, 54, and Momoa continue to keep family first. On Monday, Momoa posted photos of himself with Channing Tatum, Kravitz’s boyfriend, just before they were to watch The Batman together.

Jason Momoa and His Children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf Attend The Batman Premiere

Momoa is dad to son Nakoa-Wolf, 13, and daughter Lola, 14, with Lisa Bonet — who is also mother to Batman star Kravitz, Jason Momoa made The Batman premiere a family affair! The Aquaman star, 42, was present at the New York City premiere of the new Matt Reeves-directed comic book film at Lincoln Center on Tuesday.

Momoa brought along his son Nakoa-Wolf, 13, and daughter Lola, 14, both of whom he shares with Lisa Bonet. Bonet, who split from Momoa in January after nearly five years of marriage, is also mother to Batman star Zoë Kravitz.

The action star donned a wine-colored velvet suit with a low-cut, V-neck plaid shirt underneath. Momoa completed his look with slip-on loafers that matched his suit, and a light purple scrunchie on his wrist for his hair, which he wore down.

He carried what looked to be a professional zoom camera attached to a yellow cord.

Nakoa-Wolf echoed his father’s cool-casual style with dark pants and a loose blazer worn over an oversized white shirt and a Bob Marley tee. He sported red high-top Doc Martens and made a hang-ten sign with one hand. He held onto his dad’s hand with the other.

Lola made a fashionable impression in a black-and-white checked maxi dress, and hooked arms with her famous father. She wore pointed black boots. The trio smiled widely, and Momoa pointed coyly at the image of Kravitz, 33 — in character as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the new film — in the poster behind him.

Aside from their family connection, Momoa’s character Aquaman, who will again be seen in this year’s sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, is part of the same sprawling DC Comics universe that also houses his former stepdaughter’s Catwoman.

Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet’s Kids Nakoa-Wolf & Lola Stole the Show at Sister Zoë Kravitz’s Premiere

The New York City premiere of The Batman turned into a big night for Zoë Kravitz’s family, who came out to support her in her starring role as the iconic Catwoman. While mom Lisa Bonet wasn’t spotted on the red carpet, her stepdad Jason Momoa and her half-siblings, sister Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 13, put on a big show for the photographers.

The good-looking trio stepped out in their finest fashions with Jason wearing a rich burgundy velvet suit with matching shoes and black-rimmed spectacles. Lola, looking like her mother’s twin, was stylish in her black-and-cream checked maxi dress accessorized with black booties. Nakoa Wolf was dressed like his dad’s mini-me — a black suit, Bob Marley t-shirt and red Doc Martens to match his ultra-cool vibe.

Jason explained to Entertainment Tonight that his wife, whom he is reportedly reconciling with, “couldn’t be [at the premiere], so we’re representing me and the babies.” With a professional camera strapped around his wrist, it looked like he was taking some personal snapshots to take home to Bonet. “We’re very excited to just be here,” he added “It’s still family, you know? We’re just so proud.”

The couple split at the beginning of the year with a social media statement that talked about “these transformational times” and that they were “parting ways in marriage.” But if there is one thing that stuck out in their joint message to their fans was their “devotion unwavering to this sacred life and our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible ~ Living the Prayer May Love Prevail.” And while they aren’t addressing the rumors of reconciliation, the family support shown on the red carpet might be an indication that there is strong love between all of the family members, no matter what the end result is in Jason and Bonet’s marriage.

Jason Momoa Is Officially Playing the Villain in ‘Fast & Furious 10’

It seems the Fast & Furious franchise is trading out one big star for another. Confirmed to be joining the franchise, Aquaman star Jason Momoa will be taking up a more villainous role in the franchises’ newest iteration Fast 10. Now fans are getting more details about Momoa’s big bad personality.

Momoa was seen walking the red carpet for the premiere of the upcoming film The Batman, starring his stepdaughter Zoë Kravitz. While talking to Entertainment Tonight about his upcoming projects, Momoa confirmed his role on Fast 10, stating, “It’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while. Now, I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache!” The actor’s shift to crime is highly anticipated as the actor has made a name for himself playing more heroic, protagonist-centered roles in Aquaman, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, and Game of Thrones.

Fast 10, a working title expected to change, is rumored to be the last film in the franchise. Like many popular film series, the last installment will be split into two parts to tell a longer, more detailed narrative that will bring the franchise to a satisfying close. It is expected to see the return of many stars including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Charlize Theron. Franchise star Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, who appeared in F9, have confirmed to not be returning for the last installment. It is unknown if Jordana Brewster will return.
