The dad and mom of Gabby Petito filed a $50 million wrongful dying lawsuit towards the Moab Metropolis Police Division claiming its officers have been negligent once they encountered the 22-year-old and her fiancé Brian Laundrie two weeks earlier than her dying final summer season.
“The aim of this lawsuit is to honor Gabby’s legacy by demanding accountability and dealing towards systemic modifications to guard victims of home abuse and violence and stop such tragedies sooner or later,” lawyer James W. McConkie stated in an announcement.
