“There’s still time,” Dunst said. “I mean, nobody’s asked me anything, but I thought… I mean, this multiverse just keeps going. I have a feeling it could happen.”

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dunst revealed that he would be willing to return as an older version of his character. He seemed enthusiastic about being involved in superhero films again.

“I wish they’d put me in one more movie. Like, old girl Mary Jane, why not?” Dunst explained. “I would be willing to join (another superhero film). Everyone else would too!”

This isn’t the first time Dunst has shared this. During the world premiere of “The Power of the Dog” he was also asked the same possibility. Previously, Dunst denied that he would appear in “No Way Home” and of course he was never in the story.

But not with Garfield. Garfield who despite repeated questions, he remains in his stance to “lie” the fans. This is probably because he doesn’t want to divulge any spoilers.

“It was stressful, to be honest,” Garfield shared to The Wrap. “It was a bit stressful but also oddly fun. It’s like a big Werewolf game that I play with journalists and curious people.”
